I did my usual red light session at Truspine last night and it felt great but something was different. My body felt like hot garbage before I jumped on since I’ve been so busy with work and not sleeping enough. But I decided to do my red light anyway. I needed it. Bad. Once I got in and got warm and toasty I started to feel something. Something new and different. It felt like my body came alive for the first time in days. I felt this deep sense of calm. When the lights shut off and the music played, letting me know my session was done, I got off and immediately felt like a new person. I did my 10 minutes on the vibration plate (aids in lymphatic drainage, amazing) and headed to Bart. The whole Uber ride to Bart and the train ride home I was giddy. I couldn’t help but wonder: how could I feel this good in such a short amount of time? I got home about 50 minutes (I’m a Concord gal) later and did a long workout with weights. I ate dinner and slept like a baby. In short, red light works: at a cellular level, deep inside of you, it makes you come alive, motivates you to move your body more and honestly it gets you a little high! I’m so thankful I found Truspine! They are highly skilled, kind people. I have experienced significant relief and success with the shock wave therapy. I recently tried the chiropractic services for the first time and also benefited, it wasn’t scary like I thought it would be. They have great technology to look at your neck and feet alignment. They can scan your neck and feet at the same time and quickly recommend a custom pillow & foot sole support based on your needs. Dr. Reh is truly a lifesaver. I came in with a torn rotator cuff and, thanks to his treatment, I was still able to complete my planned swim from Alcatraz.
